Complete Streets Plan Adopted

The Complete Streets Plan was formally adopted by Burbank City Council on 16 June 2020. Thanks to everybody that participated and provided input.

City Council Adoption Hearing on June 16, 2020

The City Council of Burbank will be holding a Public Hearing to consider approving and adopting the Citywide Complete Streets Plan on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Details on how to participate and provide comment are provided in the post.

City Council Study Session on April 28, 2020

On April 28, 2020 staff presented an update to Burbank City Council seeking direction and input from the Council on the Plan’s proposed policies and project recommendations.

Upcoming Meetings and Hearings

We are currently finalizing our draft recommendations and planning for final adoption in the next couple of months. In advance of adoption, City staff are making the rounds to various City Boards & Commissions to present the draft Plan.

Our Sixth Event - In the South San Fernando Area on October 26, 2019

Our sixth outreach event will be held in the South San Fernando area at Robert R. Ovrom Park (601 South San Fernando Boulevard) on October 26, 2019 from 11am to 3pm. Please come by to review preliminary ideas and provide us your input.

Over the summer we have been developing concepts and ideas for safer streets based on the input you provided us earlier this year. Please stop by the Downtown Burbank Farmers Market on October 5 (8am to noon) to review these preliminary concepts and provide us your input.

City Council Study Session - Tuesday, 25 June 2019 (UPDATED)

UPDATE: Presentation materials from the study session are available online. We will be presenting to Burbank City Council for a Study Session on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm at Burbank City Hall, Council Chambers, located at 275 E. Olive Avenue, Burbank, CA 91502.

Big thanks to everyone who attended the Media District Open House on May 13 at Buena Vista Library and our pop-up at the Downtown Burbank Arts Festival on May 18. As usual, we heard great ideas, suggestions, and insights. We have now concluded our first round of outreach and will be back in the Fall to share preliminary ideas.

We are hosting our third event, an open house in the Media District on Monday, May 13,2019 at the Buena Vista Library (300 N Buena Vista St, Burbank, CA 91505). We will be open from 6pm to 8pm. Please drop in for as much time as you can spare.
